I've learned several important things by means of your post. I'd personally also like to mention that there may be a situation that you will get a loan and do not need a co-signer such as a Federal Student Aid Loan. In case you are getting that loan through a regular financial institution then you need to be willing to have a cosigner ready to allow you to. The lenders will probably base their own decision on the few factors but the largest will be your credit score. There are some creditors that will additionally look at your job history and choose based on this but in many cases it will be based on on your rating.
